Are the thin arms and legs strokes, not shapes? Is there any effect going on in the blue background? Sometimes when I look at it it looks as if there's a glow in it, but sometimes it looks flat.
Love it. I've been using Illustrator some lately and it's a challenge to say the least!

The arms are a thick stroke.
The background is a radial gradation.
I know so much more now! i really like vector a lot, now i need to learn photo shop.
